LauraVolunteer
The months I spent in Jerusalem provided me the opportunity to listen to myself and to understand my way of being a Christian. This is an experience that I savor every day, a privileged instrument for reassessing the image of the people I love the most, as well as the things I possess, which are sometimes taken too much for granted to appreciate their true value. This has made me understand that volunteering is not only giving. The reality of Jerusalem was able to disarm my certainties and reverse the roles, demonstrating that – in the end – I was the one to receive.
